mg ↔ mcg Conversion

1 milligram (mg) = 1,000 micrograms (mcg). Always verify unit prefixes before calculating.

BAC Water Handling

Bacteriostatic Water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, inhibiting bacterial growth in multi-dose vials.

The 28-Day Puncture Rule

Once pierced with a needle, USP standards recommend discarding BAC water after 28 days to guarantee sterility.

Storage Temperature

Unpunctured vials store safely at room temperature (68°F–77°F). Reconstituted peptide vials must be kept refrigerated at 36°F–46°F (2°C–8°C).

Never Use Plain Sterile Water

Plain sterile water lacks preservatives. Once opened, bacteria will rapidly proliferate in multi-dose vials.

Syringe & Needle Gauges

Gauge (G) indicates needle diameter — higher numbers mean thinner needles.

29G – 31G (Insulin Syringes)Subcutaneous

Ultra-fine diameter for painless subcutaneous research administration. Pre-attached 5/16" or 1/2" needle lengths.

20G – 22G (Mixing Needles)BAC Water Draw

Wider gauge for rapidly drawing bacteriostatic water from vials without dulling your administration needles.

U-100 CalibrationStandard

100 Units = 1.0 mL, meaning 1 Unit = 0.01 mL.
